Manufacturing Process

  1. Raw Material Batching and Mixing — Coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, cement, and admixtures are weighed individually using a semi-automatic or fully automatic weigh batching system. The pan mixer or twin-shaft mixer blends the ingredients for a precise duration to achieve a uniform, zero-slump concrete mix with the correct workability for hydraulic press compaction.
  2. Mould Filling and Vibro-Compaction — The dry concrete mix is fed into the paver block mould box, which is positioned over the pallet on the machine bed. The hydraulic press and vibrator operate simultaneously: the press applies high compaction force (40–120 tonnes depending on model) while the vibrator ensures even concrete distribution within the mould cavities, eliminating voids and achieving uniform density in every block.
  3. Pallet Transport and Initial Curing — After each press cycle, the finished pallets with green paver blocks are transported by a conveyor or forklift to the initial curing area. Blocks remain on pallets for 24 hours at ambient temperature (or under wet curing) to develop initial strength before being removed for final curing or water curing.
  4. Final Curing, Testing and Dispatch — Cured paver blocks are tested for compressive strength, water absorption, and skid resistance per IS 15658. Blocks meeting specification are sorted, stacked on dispatch pallets, and shrink-wrapped or banded for delivery to construction sites, government road projects, or retail dealers.
